.｡.:*･❀●•♪.。'Amazing Grace' in memory of 'Liisa-mummo' (my husband's maternal grandmother) .｡.:*･❀●•♪.。 We lost her on Wednesday 20th of May 2020. She was 90 years old at the time and had to move to live in nursery care because of her health condition. Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, we were not able to have close contact with her since March 2020. The very last time I saw her was on Mother's Day (10 days before she passed) from the nursery home's 3rd-floor balcony. Little did I know that was going to be the last time. It really broke my heart when I try to imagine how lonely and confused she might be before she passed away. I have been so sad and upset because I didn't have a chance to kiss her goodbye (the same way she used to kiss me on my cheeks when we said goodbye). At her funeral on Saturday 13th of June, I was singing this song and another song that was one of her favorite songs to bid her my last farewell. Although she is no longer with us, the memory of her will always be in our hearts ❤. Here is one of the songs I've been practicing. It is the song that all ukulele players should know and should be able to play. Even an uke beginner like me can almost finish the entire song using only 4 chords (C - G or G7 - Am - F) and you can see that it is really fun to sing along or you can make your own version as well. Playing the intro, however, is quite tricky if you want to sound similar to the original song. Thanks to SuperAppleShow for her tutorial and tricks which I've learned and applied them here. Just keep practicing and I think I'll be fine. 😉 Will be back with the complete video when I'm ready. Cheers! P.S. I did say "I'm yours" with the /s/ aspiration sound but somehow it was too soft to hear in this video. I'll fix this in my next video.

In this video, I sing two versions of a nursery rhyme: ''Tuikki Tuikki Tähtönen''(Finnish version) and ''Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'' (English version) respectively . It's very easy to play with just single down strum. Here I use Chords: C - F - G7. Enjoy!

Now is the right time to learn Thai songs for ukulele and here is my first practice. The song title is เลือกได้ไหม (Do I have a choice?) from a popular Thai girl-band named Zaza. Although I feel much more comfortable singing in my language, I surprisingly found that most of Thai songs have more challenging chords which is likely suitable for intermediate players. Anyway, I won't give up to challenges. I'll keep practicing cuz that is the only key to success. 😁
